Here at Island Shepherds we raise, train, compete with and occasionally breed German Shepherds on the island of Oahu, Hawaii

We are not a large kennel and all of our dogs live in our house as part of the family. We do not produce tons and tons of puppies. We may have one or two litters a year. All of our breeding dogs come from exceptional working lines, they have been DNA tested and have had their hips and elbows officially scored. All of our dogs are currently active in the sport of schutzhund.

Temperament and health are of the utmost importance to us. We strive to produce dogs that will be excellent active family members and/or sport/working dogs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!
